Grief
Grieving with Hope
1 min readPray slowly
“We do not… grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.”1 Thessalonians 4:13
Father, I grieve, but thank You that I do not grieve without hope.
Thank You that love is never lost in You, and that what is held in Your hands is never truly gone. Comfort me today in the ordinary moments where the absence is loudest.
Hold my loved one closer than I ever could, and hold me here until we meet again. Amen.
Amen.
Hope doesn’t erase the loss, it quietly outlasts it.
