Blessed By Jesus Daily ("we", "our") operates blessedbyjesusdaily.com. This policy describes what information we collect on this site, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect your first name and email address only when you choose to give them to us, we use them to send you the devotional email you asked for, and we never sell your information to anyone.
What we collect
- Email signups. When you subscribe to the daily devotional, request the free 30 Morning Prayers devotional, or join the app waiting list, we collect your first name (optional) and email address.
- Prayer requests. When you send a prayer request, we receive the text you write. You do not have to include your name or any identifying detail, and we encourage you to share only what you are comfortable sharing. Requests are delivered privately to our small ministry team by email, are treated as confidential, and are not published or stored on this website.
- Basic technical information. Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages securely and reliably.
How we use it
- To send you the daily devotional email and the free devotional PDF you requested.
- To notify you about the Blessed By Jesus app if you joined the waiting list.
- To pray over the requests you send us.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Ever.
Who helps us process it
- Brevo sends our emails and stores our subscriber list. Their privacy policy is at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
- Vercel hosts this website.
- YouTube provides the embedded devotional video on our homepage. When you play it, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect viewing data under Google's privacy policy.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The embedded YouTube player may set cookies when you choose to play a video, as described above. If we ever introduce advertising or analytics cookies, we will update this policy first.
Your choices
- Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you are off the list, no questions asked.
- You may ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing prayers@blessedbyjesusdaily.com. We will honor your request promptly.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted in the daily email.
