A Prayer for Financial Breakthrough

Lord, I have been pushing against the same wall for so long that my hands are raw, and the breakthrough I keep praying for has not come on my timetable, and I am tired in a way sleep does not fix.

I confess there are nights I have wondered if You forgot me here, stuck in the narrow place, watching others move forward while my situation holds still.

But I turn to You again, because I have nowhere better to turn. You are the God who makes a way through the sea and a path through the wilderness, who does new things that spring up before we even notice.

Break something open for me. Not a fantasy, but a real shift, a yes after the run of no, an opening in the place that has only been a wall.

Your word promises that those who wait on You will renew their strength, will rise up on wings like eagles. Renew mine. Lift me past the edge of what I can engineer myself.

I lay my striving down and let You carry the part I cannot move. Surprise me with the morning the wall finally gives way. Amen.
