A Prayer for Provision for My Family

Lord, I am carrying more than my own needs tonight. There are people under this roof who count on me, faces at my table, and the weight of providing for them sits heavy on my chest.

I confess I lie awake doing the math, terrified of letting them down, of the look on their faces if I cannot come through, and I have tried to shoulder it all alone.

But You are a Father too, and You love these people I love even more fiercely than I do. They were Yours before they were ever mine.

Provide for my family. Cover the needs of each one, the practical and the unspoken. Give me what I need to care for them well, and give them security they can feel.

Your word says that if I, being imperfect, know how to give good gifts to my children, how much more will my Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him.

I lift each name to You and lay our whole household in Your hands. Be the provider behind my providing, the strength behind my strength. Amen.
