A Prayer for Wisdom with Finances

Father, I am standing at a decision I do not feel qualified to make, with money on the line and consequences I cannot fully see, and I am afraid of getting it wrong.

I confess I have made impulsive choices before, chasing a quick fix or a fear, and I do not fully trust my own judgment with money. I need a wiser mind than mine.

So I come to You, the giver of wisdom, who promises to hand it out generously to anyone who asks, without finding fault or making me feel foolish for needing it.

Give me discernment. Show me what to save and what to spend, what is wise and what only glitters. Steady my hand when fear or greed tries to push me, and let me plan with a clear head.

Your word says that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask You, and it will be given. I am asking now, plainly, for clarity I do not have on my own.

I surrender my decisions and my motives to You. Make me a faithful steward of what passes through my hands. Amen.
