Father, I don’t need strength for the whole road this morning, only for today.

Give me what this single day asks of me, and no more. When I am tired, be my rest. When I am afraid, be my courage. When the hours feel long, walk beside me through every one.

One step, one hour, one prayer at a time, carry me. And let me trust You with all the tomorrows I cannot see. Amen.

Amen.

He gives daily bread and daily strength, enough for today is always enough.
