God, You see the thing I am dreading, and You are not afraid of it.

Go before me into it. Quiet the trembling in my chest and replace it with Your steady peace. Help me do the next right thing, even with shaking hands.

I will be strong and courageous, not because I feel brave, but because You have promised never to leave me nor forsake me. Amen.

Amen.
