Lord, the world is loud and my thoughts are louder. Hush them.

Settle my racing heart the way only You can, and let Your peace stand guard at the door of my mind. I give You the things I cannot fix and the worries I keep picking back up.

Teach me to be still, and to know, deep down where it counts, that You are God. Amen.

His peace isn’t the absence of storms, it’s His presence within them.
